building it, better.

I’m Jake, a creative director specializing in designing bold, impactful visuals and brand experiences that hit the nail on the head. With a background in the arts, culture, entertainment, and hospitality technology spaces, I bring a diverse, sharp eye for design, a strategic marketing mindset, and a deep understanding of how to connect brands with their audiences.

My participation in projects have earned Gold at the Davey Awards (2024, Achievement in Content, “Illinoise”) and the Clio Awards (2023, Achievement in Social Media, “& Juliet.”) Favorite projects include content direction for Warner Bros’ Harry Potter New York flagship retail store; season art for lauded Indiana Repertory Theatre; video design for charity Animal Advocates; and the creation of my show, Leg Room. In 2022, I was honored to be an official selection of TEDxBroadway’s Young Professional cohort.

A northeast native, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients and brands in New York City and across the country. With startups (Uber; BentoBox), nonprofits (multi-Tony Award-winning Second Stage Theater; New York City Center), to industry-leading ad agencies (AKA North America; Situation Interactive)—helping them refine their messaging, elevate their visual identity, and optimize their digital presence. Whether it’s designing a full-scale marketing campaign, developing a brand’s creative direction, or fine-tuning a content strategy, my approach is always rooted in accessibility, innovation, and storytelling.

Hobbies include going to the movies to look at a big screen and take a break from my many smaller screens.
